Every day of the year except for January 1st and May 1st.
Within the validity period of your ticket, you may hop and off as many times as you ´d like.
When purchasing the ticket, the system will ask you to select a date for the tour. However, the ticket will become valid for 24 hours starting from the moment you board the Tourist Bus for the first time, regardless of the selected date. Once the ticket is validated, the 24-hour period runs continuously. This validity period will only be extended in the event of service suspension due to weather conditions, in which case it will be extended for an additional 24 hours.
The duration depends on the route selected. The Central - Historical & Cultural Circuit lasts 2 hours, while the Rambla - Coastal & Shopping Circuit lasts 90 minutes.
These durations refer exclusively to the time spent on the tour without getting off the bus.
Tickets for the Tourist Bus can be purchased on our website: www.busturisticomontevideo.com, through tourism product sales platforms, participating travel agencies, hotels, or when boarding the bus (in this case, payment must be made by credit or debit card, as cash in not accepted on board).
The buses are equipped with ramps and wheelchair anchoring systems.
Only guide dogs and assistance dogs, properly identified as such, are permitted to board the buses.
Passengers with Uruguayan ID who pay using an STM card get discounted prices: $500 for regular STM card holders and $250 for retirees and students.
It is recommended to arrive between 5 and 10 minutes before the scheduled time. Time can be optimized by checking the buses in real time on our web-site/app.
The service is only suspended when weather conditions compromise the safety of passengers traveling on the upper deck.
Audio guides are available in English, French, German, Italian, and Portuguese, as well as in Spanish.
Eating and drinking are not allowed on board; except for water consumption, in which case still water in small bottles is preferred in order to avoid inconvenience to fellow passengers.
Smoking and vaping are not permitted on board the buses.
