Central Tour #11 - Centenario Stadium

Batlle Park is known as the lung of the city due to its 150-acre expanse, where native and exotic trees coexist. The Centenario Stadium, in this park, is the only stadium declared a World Football Historic Monument by FIFA in 1983. It was there that Uruguay was crowned champion of the first FIFA World Cup in 1930.
