Central Tour #6 - Agricultural Market of Montevideo

The Agricultural Market of Montevideo is a historic building inaugurated in 1912. The enormous iron structure of the roof was built for the Great International Exhibition of Brussels at the beginning of the last century and was donated by Belgium to our country. In 2013 it was reopened after one of the largest restorations carried out in recent years. There you can find fruits and vegetables, gourmet products, a gastronomic section with typical dishes and souvenirs from our country.
